Italian company ACME already announced train Mostar-Dalmacija express on fair in Novegru in september 2019 (https://pegomodel.si/2019-10-06/acme-55237-55238-mostar-dalmacija-express/) consisting of two 3 car sets. This year, on Toyfair in Nürnbergu at the end of january 2020 they announced also the third set with no. 55247. This set adds the following cars to the whole train:
JŽ sleeping car
JŽ car with seats with 1st and 2nd class
DB baggage car
Since we expect all sets soon we already gather preordes. The exact release date will be published later as well as price (it should be around 180 EUR per set).

Simplon express with designation EX220 or 221 was once a long international train which drove from Paris through Italy to Yugoslavia, moreprecisely Belgrade. ACME put the train in the year 1973 and 3 sets of this train are already available. This is now set number 4 with two JŽ cars and one Italian (FS) car. This set should be available on November 2019 and estimated price should be 190 EUR. We already accept preorders for this set.
A train Mostar-Dalmacija express was one of many international trains that connected Europe with former Yugoslavia. The train was driving from Stuttgart through Austria, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina to the city of Kardeljevo (todays Ploče, Croatia) at Adriatic sea in mid Dalmatia. The designatior for the car was D296 or D297 depending on the driving direction. It was also one of the longest trains, for example in 1989 it had 11 cars with home station in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We got announcement from AlbertModell for a H0 model of tank car of Yugoslavian type. These tank cars were built in a company Goša from Smederevska Palanka in nowadays Serbia. The basis was polish tank car type 29R which is somewhat shorter (12,80 m instead of 13,24 m) and with lower capacity (48 m3 instead of 60 m3). Goša tank cars’ came at the Yugoslavian railways in the 1960’s as type Uahrrs-z which were later recoded as types Zas and Zaes. Many of these cars are still in use in all republics of former Yugoslavia. A lot of these cars were exported to Czechoslovakia so You can see them in nowadays Czech and Slovak republic.
At start AlbertModell plans to prepare models for Czech and Slovakian market but the intention is also to release models of cars which are in nowadays use in republics of former Yugoslavia: Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia (ŽFBH) and of course also models from JŽ period in epoch IV.
AlbertModell and we are collecting the interest and preorders for these models. Of course the most interesting models for Yugoslavian market are as follows:

Slovenian railroads, freight divisions have recently acquired some freight wagons for paletized goods with sliding side doors. They permanently coupled together two cars together so they got one Himrrs type car from two Hbbillns cars (see article AlbertModell Hbbins/Hbbillns).

Company AlbertModell announced the availability of H0 model of 2 axle freight car with sliding doors for transport of palletized goods. These cars were firstly bought by swiss company AAE which are known to lease their cars. Some of these cars also visit Slovenia and Croatia. In the spring the cars PKP Hbbins shall be available followed with CZ-ČDC Hbbillns, SK-ZSSKC Hbbins and H-GYC Hbbillns later this year.
The price for these cars are 40 EUR per piece and we already accept preorders.
Together with Danube Train Models from Belgrade (DTM) we are announcing release of set consisting of two JŽ flat cars of type Slmmp-tz in H0 scale. These are special cars for heavy cargo and transporting tanks. In Yugoslavia there were some versions of such cars, these are 4 axle cars of type Köln. These cars appeared in 1940 when german army ordered freight cars for transporting tanks on the fronts in 2nd world war. After the war many of these cars remained in Yugoslavia and they were used for the same purposes along with transporting heavy cargo. The models of these cars will be made by the company Artitec in a set consisting of 2 cars. The cars should be from register of ŽG Ljubljana (nowadays Slovenia) and the revision is set to the end of 1980’s. The price is not defined but it should be around 80 EUR. We already accept preorders for these sets through the form on this website.
Italian manufacturer ACME just announced the Hellas-Istanbul set 2 should be available soon. This set consists of 3 passenger cars in scale H0:
– sleeping car from OSE (Greece) of type WLABmh
– couchette car from BDŽ (Bulgaria)
– seating car from JŽ (Yugoslav railways) with seats of 1st and 2nd class
The exact release date is not know at the moment but You can (pre)order it for 195,00 EUR through the webform on this website.
German company RST Modellbau is preparing an interesting freight car of (german) type Vh 14 as plastic kit in H0 scale with JDŽ markings. JDŽ decals have markings for type Mv with revision in early 1950’s. These kits will be availabe at our shop in very limited quantity for the same price as from manufacturer – 35 EUR. Please note, this car is available as kit so the car is dissasembled with parts from plastic and metal parts. The kit does not include paints and glue. The kits can be (pre)ordered through webform on this website.
Danube Train models in cooperation with Exact Train are preparing H0 model of open freight car of type Klagenfurt (in Europe also known as Omm34). The model shall represent a freight car type JŽ Kdv with home station Belgrade from epoche 3b.
This type of freight cars appeared during the World War 2 in 1942. German reich produced a substatial number of these cars and many of them remained in former Yugoslavia after WW2. They were used for transporting different materials like wood, coal etc.
The price for this car is 40,50 EUR, the model will be available in summer 2018. We accept preorders for this model using webform or e-mail.
