JDŽ Mv – 2 floor freight car for transporting pigs

German company RST Modellbau is preparing an interesting freight car of (german) type Vh 14 as plastic kit in H0 scale with JDŽ markings. JDŽ decals have markings for type Mv with revision in early 1950’s. These kits will be availabe at our shop in very limited quantity for the same price as from manufacturer – 35 EUR. Please note, this car is available as kit so the car is dissasembled with parts from plastic and metal parts. The kit does not include paints and glue. Danube Train models in cooperation with Exact Train are preparing H0 model of open freight car of type Klagenfurt (in Europe also known as Omm34). The model shall represent a freight car type JŽ Kdv with home station Belgrade from epoche 3b.

This type of freight cars appeared during the World War 2 in 1942. German reich produced a substatial number of these cars and many of them remained in former Yugoslavia after WW2. They were used for transporting different materials like wood, coal etc.

The price for this car is 40,50 EUR, the model will be available in summer 2018. We accept preorders for this model using webform or e-mail.

REE Modeles with cooperation of Danube Train models are announcing the special H0 model of steam locomotive under the designation JŽ 62-067. The model represents a steam locomotive from Belgrade shed. Such type of locomotive came in Europe from USA in large numbers during World war 2. After the WW2 the locomotives were distributed to many European countries amongst which former Yugoslavia received 106 locomotives. They were in use as switchers on the stations and also in some factories. In Slovenia they were in use until late 1980’s while some of them are still in use in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We accept preorders for the models through webform and our e-mail. Unfortunatelly the model price is unknown.

ACME announced that a model of JŽ couchette car with three colour stripes along the car is now available. The revision of this car is from 2000 and thus it is from Ep. V. The car used to be in international trains, for example it was driving through Croatia and Slovenia in IC Sava.

The model is available in our shop, we accept orders through webform or e-mail. The price is 64,50 EUR.

ACME 52856 – Sleeping car JŽ ŽTP Skopje

ACME has announced the availability of H0 model of JŽ sleeping car from ŽTP Skopje (nowadays FYROM). This car used to be in international trains like Hellas Express.

The model is available through us at the price of 63,00 EUR. We accept orders through web form on this website or through our e-mail.

ACME 52457 – JŽ couchette car type Bautzen

ACME introduced a H0 model of JŽ couchette car type Bautzen on the toyfair in Nürnbergu 2018. In former Yugoslavia  (SFRJ) existed only one such car. This car came in Yugoslavia in late 1980’s with some train under BDŽ (Bulgarian state railways) and was involved in the accident. The car was damaged so it was written of by BDŽ to be later repaired in the company Gredelj in Zagreb. It was in use on JŽ for some years and then it was scrapped (source forum malezeljeznice.net ).

This car is available from the begining of May 2018 for 40,50 EUR. You can order this car through webform in this website.

ACME set 55181 SŽ ABl + Bl

Company ACME presented set of 2 SŽ cars on the Toyfair in Nürnberg 2018 under the art. no. 55181. This is a set consisting of two SŽ white cars with blue and turquoise stripe with seats, one mixed class (AB) and one 2nd class.This livery was introduced by SŽ in the beginning of 1990’s and was in use till the mid 2000’s. The cars were in use on domestic as well on many international trains like IC Croatia, Venezia Express, Simplon Express etc.

This set is now available, the price is 126,95 EUR. You can order it through web form on this website.

ACME 52803, 52523 – Mixed class and second class passenger cars of Slovenian Railways (SŽ)

The well known model railways manufacturer ACME announced release of two passenger cars type GOŠA UIC-Y in H0 scale. The cars are painted in a livery that appeared in 1991/92 and was in use until 2005. The cars are painted in white with grey skirt and two green stripes. These cars were in use for domestic and also international trains.

The estimated release is late december 2017-january 2018 and price is 62,60 EUR each but in a preorder action valid until December 17th, 2017 the price is a bit lower. You can preorder these cars using the web form on this website.

Model of freight car SLO-SŽ Gas-z

We received the news from Danube Train Models from Belgrade that in the autumn 2017 the well known factory LS Models will release 2 H0 models of 4 axle covered freight car JŽ Gas. Till the end of 1990-s in these cars a lot of goods were transported from and to Yugoslavia so these cars could be seen all round the Europe. Yugoslav railways owned few thousand of these cars.

There shall be two numbers of these cars one was owned by ŽG Ljubljana, Slovenia (31 72 190 2 820-4)  and the second was owned by ŽTP Beograd, Serbia (31 72 190 3 507-6).
