AlbertModell tank cars type Niesky

Hungarian model trains manufacturer AlbertModell has prepared new series of tank cars of type Niesky in H0 scale. In reality these are tank cars with the capacity of 85m3 and maximum allowed speed 120 km/h. There were more than 340 pieces made in the late 1980’s. Many of them were already scrapped but there are many of them still in the service. Here is the list of the models in the first series:

ACME JŽ Sava express, JŽ couchette

With the opening of the fair Intermodellbau Dortmund on April 10th 2025 model train manufacturer ACME from Italy published a catalogue with news. In this catalogue ACME announced for our countries important models, that is 2 sets of business train Sava Express and a new model of JŽ couchette passenger wagon.

The train Sava Express was in former Yugoslavia almost the top priority passemger train. This train had code P100/101 and drove between Ljubljana, capital of the Republic of Slovenia, Zagreb, capital of the Republic of Croatia and Belgrade, the capital of Yugoslavia and nowadays of Republic of Serbia. The train was quite long consisting of 8 wagons of 1st class including the restaurant and buffet wagon. Occasionally there could be also close to 15 wagons. Wagons were painted in blue with white stripe and logo Inter City and in Ljubljana often the special salon wagon was added. This extra wagon was used to transfer representatives of government of Social republic of Slovenia from Ljubljana to Belgrade. Since mr. Stane Dolanc often travelled in that special wagon they called it the Dolanc’s wagon. ACME’s set represent models of typical wagons of 1st class and the restaurant wagon.

As mentioned at the beggining in the ACME catalogue the following models are announced:

AlbertModell Rgs/Res wagons 2025, additional series

Hungarian model railways manufacturer AlbertModell just notified us of the new flat freight wagons types Rgs/Res in H0 scale. Originaly these are of 19,90m long flat wagons with 4 axles for transporting longer freight as well as containers. The original wagons were built in Burgas, Bulgaria.
